Police arrested Alan Talgo, 29 and Katie Matthews, 21 of the Belfast Augusta Road. Talgo and Matthews were both charged with probation violations, marijuana cultivation, trafficking in Schedule Z drugs (marijuana) and possession of Schedule W drugs (subpoxan).Talgo was also charged with possession of Schedule Z drugs due to prescription medication that police allegedly found in his possession. Waldo County Sheriff's Department Detective Merl Reed and Deputy Ben Seekins went to the residence Tuesday night to conduct a probation check.
The officers reportedly found three marijuana plants growing in a bedroom. The sheriff's department K-9 searched the residence.Officers reportedly found four bags of individually packed marijuana.
